What year was the demolition of the old railway end? I’ve no recollection of it and suspect it wasn’t there for my first match in 1990. I remember the old South Park stand being there then, though I think probably officially closed, as there were a handful of people dotted around at most. I remember the Stacey West being the new stand but seem to think it wasn’t completed/opened when I first attended. It might have been, memory gets a bit sketchy. Does anyone know when the Stacey West was officially opened?Back inside the ground today, with views of the ground from the old West Bank. A good opportunity to remind ourselves of how far this club has come over the last 3 decades, and why we should be looking forward to being in the Championship next season, no matter how it pans out.
The final picture shows the demolition of the Railway Terrace, which took place not long after the Imps played Moscow Torpedo. Gone but not forgotten.
