Sorry Springy lad we replaced Southport so never played them in the league and you missed Yeovil. But some good old names in there and still have neetmares about Stockport when Kevin Francis played for them.

Even though we had a lousy record there I always enjoyed going to Barnet. Cracking pub at the top the hill next to the ground.

I should have made it clear that we didn't play them all in the League.

When i was in my late teens, my mates tried to visit all the
the Football League Clubs, we didn't do them all,
but we managed well over 60 of them.

Back in the days when i was in my late teens,
i'm now nearly 70, my mates and i wrote to
Football League Clubs for trials.

A lot of them replied, we had a great day out,
we played a match on a Football League Ground
we got tea, sandwiches and biscuits and was
'chuffed as a butty'.

Watched us beat Southport in FA Cup at Haigh Avenue. Stan Mortinson was manager. He said if we cannot beat non league Wigan we deserve nothing. Result 2 1 to us 🤗 happy days

Remember when we beat Sheffield Wednesday at Springy
in the FA Cup 1977, i think Maurice Whittle scored for us and
Jackie Charlton was their manager.

I'm not sure we have played many league games against these clubs, but some quite recent ones can be added to your list. The amount of FL games by each club is in brackets.

Maidstone Utd (134)
Kidderminster Harriers (230)
Rusden & Diamonds (230)
Dagenham & Redbridge (414)
Scarborough (536)

and a few of older ex league sides -

Gateshead Utd (1004)
Workington Town (1194)
Bradford Park Avenue. (2190)

The list of clubs that have played in the Football League is currently running around the 148 mark, so there are actually 56 ex football league sides including of course Wigan Borough (412).

Burton Albion (379) are quite new to the Football League, but there have been 3 other clubs from Burton over the years - Burton Wanderers (90), Burton United (212) and Burton Swifts(272).

There are also quite a few Football League clubs that have returned to the FL, with Barrow (1924) prior to this season, being the latest.

I didn't say we played every club on my list,
i said i had visited most of the grounds.

Although we did play most of these clubs,
in various Leagues and Cup Competitions.

I was only pointing out a few more ex league sides for your list.
You did ask posters to add to it if there were any you had missed.
