... and don't I know it. Football is polarising into London and the North West.
In terms of revenue .... there is a big gap now between the top 6 and the rest. Bad for the game.
Villa have billionaires at the helm but I feel it is a step too far to make a top 7.
Newcastle may have Abu Dhabi money if that cousin of Man City's owners takes over.. but given there are only four spots to go for, will they 'spaff' a load of dosh to break into it? If they do that means 7 into four each season. Bad news IMO for Arsenal and Spurs.
Game at the top level has gone. If Derby had gone up, what would the long term target have been? Just exist in the Premier League and the owner makes a nice few quid each season?
Better to be top 6 in the Championship the scrape an existence in the greedy league?
