nuno - to leave? Fabrizio Romano

We don't know yet with Potter, but I suspect he will get a PL job. If he has stayed at Brighton, what is the best job he could have gotten?

In the last 5 years (or even 10?), I think Chelsea are the only top 6 team that have actually appointed an English manager?

You had Rogers at Liverpool. Have spurs had one? Man Utd haven't gone British since Moyes. Arsenal never do.

He might as well go for it and gamble he'll be a success now. He won't be able to play the attractive football he has a reputation for in the PL with Ipswich, so danger is always of being seen as another Sean Dyche. Cooper had that danger too
The issue with Potter is a strange one.

He obviously has some talent as a manager; you would have to question was Chelsea too big a Club for him?

If the players do not buy into what he wants, he has lost the dressing room from the onset.

He probably realises it will be a push to land another top PL job; he will keep picking up his money from Chelsea and then set about making a name for himself again

Last English manager at spurs was Rednapp (Ryan mason has done some games as caretaker)

Cooper - linked with Burnley now too. He should take up some job soon i expect.

Moyes
Poch
TT
Zidane
Mourinho
Conte
Allegri

a lot of big names there and Bayern went for Kompany !!

He might but he hasn’t been offered one yet that I know of. Edwards, I think will also get offers but the issue for him is the style he plays. If Frank leaves, expect them to be in for Edwards.

I am not totally sold on the idea that McKenna won’t be able to play attractive football either. Granted he can’t do what Burnley tried but you can still play attractive football on the counter. A lot will depend on how his players step up though.

Whatever happens it will be interesting but I honestly don’t expect Boehly to change any time soon.

I must admit I found it odd that he turned down Ajax. I know they have problems but for a man who initially made his name on the continent I thought the prospect of a rebuild would have been right up his alley.

Personally can see Cooper or Edwards being the next Ipswich manager when McKenna leaves.

Brighton think they can get him, and Potters return is apparently the second choice. As for Chelsea, who knows

McKenna does well at Chelsea and he is a big club manager for the foreseeable. If he doesn't he's ex Chelsea manager and can have his pick of lower prem or second tier jobs, which is no worse and probably better than if he goes down (or indeed stays up) with Ipswich.
And be financially set up for life

Whether he's a success or sacked after 3 months

Not been any build up from that first Nuno out rumour. You'd think he'd have been ousted by now if it was definitely in the plans. As others have said, looking at the managerial chaos going on everywhere else it feels like stability will be more valuable than ever this summer.

Apart from a story that Merry Knackers has asked Mendes to find someone new…

Posted in here? I missed that. Only thing I've seen was a story today saying Nuno's being eyed up in Portugal & Spain, but there's no indication Forest plan to part company.

I certainly think Man U and Chelsea want to be competing and winning the league. But, because Man City are so good they're bloody miles off it and they don't seem to know how to close the gap so they just keep hiring and firing.
hes only really fired 2 of his appointments and this one seemed a bit 2 way

Agreed he’s done OK but you know what I’m not bothered one way or the other whether we stick or twist that just about sums up the impression he’s made on me although it does seem the players like him
hes way more like coops than people realise Id say, a genuine guy that cares and he kinda wants to be liked by the crowd, i reckon he knew it could go either way after cooper and its still neither quite one way or another is it, its kinda meh; but for thesse reasosn mentioned I think meh was good enough for him to get stuck in, we will back him properly

Not sure. I read it yesterday evening. Wouldn’t surprise me though.

reports in greece saying Jorge mendes is looking for a new manager for us.

cooper to burnley?
I think Potter to Ipswich Town; McKenna to Manchester United; Maresca to Chelsea; Cooper to Leicester City...........

I have no knowledge at all, just playing managerial lego.
