His stock is higher than Forest now, unfortunately. Would love it tho.I can imagine him going balls out for Ruben Amorim...

I don't believe for one second that when he got the job EM told him that the target was simply to survive.
We were 17th and 5 points above the relegation zone when he was appointed, so I'm sure EM would have been aiming higher with expectations of improving on last season and finishing mid-table.
The points deduction puts a slightly different complexion on it but even so, I think EM will be disappointed that safety was such a close-run thing.
In other words, a bit deluded to suggest a coach aiming for CL clubs. His stock is higher than Forest now, unfortunately. Would love it tho.
If you look at the form table for the 20 league games he was in charge, we sit in a fairly decent 13th place; one place above Everton who everyone appears to think managed their points deduction admirably.I don't believe for one second that when he got the job EM told him that the target was simply to survive.

What a ridiculous post - I expect far more from you Woanz. This is why he has to go it’s obvious our board/chairman are looking for better so he’s already undermined absolutely no point giving him any money as everything points to a woeful start to the season where the playerz already know the manager is on borrowed time.
It just hasn’t worked no point carrying on let’s just get a clean break & wish Nuno well.
yes fook cornflake and his anti nuno clique.
damnit I should ov gone back a pip.
I imagine everyone is disappointed but now that our season horriblus is done we should be realistic.
nuno done ok given the hand he was dealt. not gonna reherse all the reasons cos u know them.
everyone knows what we need- deadwood out, fewer, targeted players in, stadium sorted out. the fact that we are all broadly agreed on the direction is some decent proof things are moving positively.

It would be pretty churlish for EM to blame Nuno for a situation that he played a far larger role in.
We will not get any improvement defensively with the players we have.Standard of play going forward was fine
Standard of play defensively needs serious improvement
Set piece play needs serious improvement
Don't think we've really seen any improvement in the last 2 areas in the 20 games
Which is my concern
As they are both VERY OBVIOUS reasons why we don't get anywhere near the points we should be getting with the quality in this squad IMO
We look way better than the results we are actually getting
Who would you suggest takes over the hot potato seat, Wolfie?Standard of play going forward was fine

Two young kids and an ageing Willy Boly just will not do, and Nuno cannot pick players he does not have at his disposal.
You talk about Dyche being able to sort out defences; yes he can, but he depends on tried and tested formula's
He has one very promising youngster in Branthwaite with two experienced stalwarts in Tarkowski and Keane.
Defending is about organisation on the field, and you need players to do that organising; we just do not have them.
Getting an experienced defender in to teach Murillo and Omobamidele how to defend should be the first thing on their list, not changing the manager.
You know the solution to our problemsWho would you suggest takes over the hot potato seat, Wolfie?
