Nuno got his payoff then. I honestly thought that they had sorted it and Nuno was to remain.
His appalling press conferences hasn't helped.
Nor his team selection/substitutions.

I can only imagine he became privy to info that he didn’t like . His behaviour was out of character but also really unsavoury. This should have been done a week ago not 4 days before Arsenal.

Really disappointing end. Glasner, Silva or Mourinho please .

I think we'll find it was done days ago effectively and that a new appointment comes in the next few hours

As always, whoever comes in gets our backing.

This doesnt leave me with the same feeling as Cooper going.although it would have been my preference for him to keep his mouth shut and him in post, as the wee shitehawk said, it is what it is.

Are any of us surprised? Hes behaved appallingly and got what he wanted.
Not surprised at all. Seemed inevitable for a while. But I'd go back a bit further and ask why did he want it? It was such a brilliant job he had. Is he really just too fragile to handle the arrival of a Global Head of Football? Or did Edu make such significant changes that meant he felt he could do his job properly and Marinakis coldly told him to get back in his box on a now rare interaction.
It was working really well. It changed. Not for the better (in Nuno's eyes).

Moving on, I'm not convinced by these betting odds. Dyche is really quite likely according to them and I can't see that happening. The four that Dorsett mentions are all better than him, Mourinho and Ange. What about Poch?

Totally gob-smacked at the timing of this decision. If it was going to happen - it should have been directly after the West Ham game.

I suppose the only thing to say is that it is not a knee-jerk reaction.

I will reserve judgement on whether it is the right decision until the new man is appointed. I would assume that EM has been lining up his replacement before firing the gun - it is the only logical reason for the delayed sacking.
