Perfect day for a boycott although the rain gives the regime a ready made excuse for the gaps.

Officially I reckon the attendance will go down as around 47,000 but surely it'll be noticed on telly as being half full or half empty depending on your angle with unofficially around 35,000 there.

On the back of this though, it's odds on that 'Broocey' will get off to a decent start and get a win in his first 10 games to see him lauded as 'better than Rafa' by the clueless.

A new season but with the same expectations. None.

Im going 2-2

So pretty much like last season, Longstaff back from injury in place of Diame, Almiron back from injury in place of Perez and a staff rather than a loan striker up front and different faces in the dugout.

On the pitch less boring than last season but that was never going to be difficult to achieve.

Saint-Maximin will make a difference if he gets on and Joelinton has shown little flashes of the profit he's been bought for.

Off the pitch business as usual,we have a team that will benefit Mike Ashley.

Time to sing songs about nasty Mike now, only sing them when losing as everything’s fine with the club when we’re not.

Toothless! New signings look fucking wank and relegation is on the cards. To think people were wanking themselves over beating the mighty St Etienne.
