What has changed since that awful home draw against Birmingham, where we were lucky not to lose, and some fans booed the players off?
Then came the two week International break which seemingly transformed us into a mean machine with three straight wins, two away, and a first league double in our history over Cardiff.
Key player Manning served a four match ban and can’t now get in the side, Latibeaudiere grabbing his chance with both hands.
Another key player Downes is out injured and Fulton has had rave reviews as his replacement.
There seems to be more drive and urgency in our play and to get forward more than before instead of aimless passing in our own half, and we are not afraid to hoof the ball out instead of trying to play it out from the back every time.
Do we have a chance of reaching the play-offs with six games left, four at home? Probably not but in this division where any team can beat the other, who knows. Coventry beat Fulham 1-3 at Craven Cottage today, they are two points ahead of us but we have a game in hand. Their manager Mark Robins talked about the play-offs after the win “Until it's mathematically impossible, of course we have to believe we can do it. We just try to play the best we can in any given game."
So do we, let’s take each game as it comes, go for it, and see where we end up.

Thankfully our season is not over yet and we have something to fight for, albeit a slender chance. Historically there is always a team that makes a late charge up the table and gate crashes the party, can it be us?
