Excellent news. Would love to see a match played there. Have walked through the park a number of times, know the area well.
And have a good friend who grew up there and was a Third Lanark supporter. He will definitely want to see the club come back.
And if they can, they should aim to get into the Lowland Lge structure.

The chairman of the company my other half works for played for Thirds in the 1960s and was part of the team in the final season of 1966-67, although he missed what proved to be their final game. He once spent an evening telling me about the bugger who took the club down, a crook called Bill Hiddleston - have a read of this and weep:

When I first saw Cathkin in the 1980s it was in a right state. Great they have cleaned it up.

Indeed. They had a crook owner to beat most others!

Having read that it is truly awful what a conman he even looks shifty! No doubt he would still pass the "Fit and Proper person" test today!
