Norwich v Swansea

Didn’t see the game but glad to take a point from it. Vip continues to score and we equal last seasons points tally.

If we assume that results go the same way as they have, we may well have had a play off season if Matos was in charge from the start. Norwich will be saying the same thing though!

Spend the Vip money well and it could be a good season for us next year 🤞
20M and no less for VP. Would I like him to stay 100%. But this could be the only opportunity to sell a 25 goal player on a golden Boot in the team of the season. Money needs to be used well and not another Clucas 😂

I’ve been thinking £20m is too high but we might be able to argue our case. Most clinical striker in the league by some distance and 18 non-penalty goals I think. In an era where true strikers seem rare we could well get 20 for him if things go our way. Hoping for brace or hattrick next weekend, 25+ sounds good.

Didn't McBurnie go for alot and he was no where near VP. I said it on other forum, I would rather the transfer is done quick in the window if he is going. It's gonna help all areas of the club and get depth we need. As I think if we don't at least sell either him or Galbraith we won't see much coming in.

McBurnie scored 22 and Sheffield United were on their way to the Premier League. Us being a parachute team, it was probably pretty easy for us to get what we did for him.

Vip situation a little bit different but the fact he has golden boot and has just signed a new contract definitely helps us.

Missed the game this afternoon but seemed like from the highlights that it was fairly tame game between the two sides alongside a horrid performance from the ref. Subs I found quite strange again, Cullen on for Franco around the 60th min mark? Can’t quite work that one out when 1-0 up. I think Cullen is an asset in this squad but for cameo roles where we’re chasing a goal for the last 10-15mins, not where we’re leading the game and the midfield we have on the pitch has control of the game. Hoping Matos’ persistence with it disappears next season.

Well that’s it for another season for the travelling jack army.

Those fans who went to QPR and Norwich this week will have travelled just short of 1,000 miles, a brave feat indeed.

Swansea - Norwich return 294 + 294 = 588 miles taking 10-1/2 hours

Swansea - QPR return 193 + 193 = 386 miles taking 7 hrs

Total travel 974 miles taking 17-1/2 hrs

Yeah didn't make much sense to me either putting Cullen on for Franco when the midfield battle was key all game. Expected he'd have come on later to try and get a 2nd and kill the game off.
