This is probably our toughest test so far. Norwich are unbeaten in the last 6 games and top of the form charts. Their last defeat was on 3rd Oct when they lost to a late Wayne Rooney goal at home to Derby.
Teemu Pukki is easing back in scoring form after a goal drought, and Norwich are a team geared up for a quick return to the Premier League.
Their main transfers this summer were:
In -
Jordan Hughill (West Ham £3m) - centre-forward - 1 goal
Przemyslaw Pacheta (Slask Wroclaw £2.7m) - left-winger - 1 goal
Out:
Jamal Lewis (Newcastle £14.9m) - left-back
Ben Godfrey (Everton £24.8m) - centre-back

Another big match today in this season’s ridiculously hectic schedule as our team make the arduous journey over the long and winding road to rural East Anglia. The land of Norfolk Broads, Colman’s Mustard, Cromer Crab, Alan Partridge, Admiral Lord Nelson, Delia Smith, Fish and Chips, Aviva Insurance and Norwich City FC.
Recently relegated from the PL, they have kept most of their squad together with the exception of two departures, centre-back Ben Godfrey (Everton £25m) and left-back Jamal Lewis (Newcastle £15m)
Team news -
Norwich’s injury list grows and there will be late fitness decisions on several players according to their official website.
Lukas Rupp (hamstring)
Przemyslaw Placheta (calf)
Todd Cantwell (ankle)
Ben Gibson, Jacob Sorensen, and Marco Stiepermann are also doubtful with injury issues.
Xavi Quintilla (long term muscular injury)
Onel Hernandez, Kieran Dowell, Sam Byram (longer-term injuries).
Swans have a late fitness test on centre-back Ben Cabango with full-back Kyle Naughton ready to deputise again.

Midfielders George Byers and Morgan Gibbs-White are out with long term injuries.
May the best team win as long as it’s Swansea!

Late goal for Stiepermann 84’ Norwich 1 Swans 0
All the way down to 6th in the table, plenty of chances for Swansea but not taken.
Disappointing day as we lose our away record.

We badly need someone who can score goals, relying on Ayew all the time is no good. But we knew this in the transfer window, the owners wouldn’t spend, and the answer was the cheapest option, an inexperienced loanee striker from Brighton with a poor goal scoring record who can’t hold a place in the team.
We have a strong squad who played very well today but 19 shots and no goals tells its own story. We were the better team and should have won this match but are going home with nothing.

Daniel Farke:
"It is a big win for us, many compliments to my lads, to get seven games unbeaten with a massive win for us.
To return back with the win and a clean sheet and another late goal feels amazing, I am pretty delighted with our performance, it was a hard-fought but I thought, deserved win.
Swansea are a top side, they were also on an unbeaten streak and you can't dominate a side like that from the first to the last second.
It was a complicated game and a difficult game so we were delighted to end with the win and also only our fourth clean sheet."

Steve Cooper:
"When you come to somewhere like this and create the chances that we did, not to at least get a draw is disappointing, but it should have been three points on chances alone.
Tim Krul has made more saves in this game than he probably has all season. For large parts I thought we defended really well and I can't really remember Freddie (Woodman) making a key save, but they have managed to put the ball in the back of the net once and it has cost us the game.
It was a tight game and we were playing to win, but we didn't manage to score and that is the most important thing. We should have got 6 points this week. If someone had offered us the chances we created today we would have taken it, but we didn’t put them away unfortunately.”

An excellent performance in the end after a difficult first half that saw us pick up a lot of bookings as we couldn't deal with their movement. Too much desperate defending going on to stop the likes of Pukki getting into any shooting range. Much better in 2nd half but Norwich did what we couldn't, take 1 chance to win the game. Disappointing to give 3 points to a close rival in the table but signs looking good for the season ahead based on that display.

We are missing a recognised goal scorer and I hope he proves me wrong but Gyokeres doesn’t look like the answer. The owners might regret not releasing some cash to bring in a proven striker after missing out on Brewster, as we are very close to being contenders for promotion. We are just not scoring enough goals.
