Yes, SN always put a shift in. 'Undisclosed fee'. Not surprising. But I don't feel it's right for Jimmy Olsen to state it's 'good money' and that the paper 'understands we were close to recouping most of what we paid.' If the parties don't wish to disclose that's fine but self-serving leaks with no evidence to back them up and accepted at face value by our newshounds does not sit right with me.

I agree with all of the above. Don’t say it’s undisclosed and then leak hints. Nombe always tries hard. Personally I think he is a bit limited as a player but his effort can’t be disputed and for all he has done for us I thank him and wish him well.

I will take a very good uneducated guess and say ….
£800k plus the add ons which will take it to around £1M.
After talking to a certain person at Stockport County away last season it was quite obvious Sam would be moving on. Far too good for League 2 plus he would have had the usual Salary reduction if it was in his contract.

Good luck to him at MKD. Their owners are Mega rich and Warney will want another League 1 promotion on his C.V.
