I am surprised they have found a way through on i gadgets and that androids haven't been affected.
It is a major problem though not just on vital, but industry wide, certainly causing a lot of headaches and damages businesses like mine as some give up,think we want those sort of adverts and so don't come on.
Horrible situation. Surprised the likes of William Hills allow these sort of campaigns as well.
The worst of these re directs was a year or so back where users were taken to pretty vile porn sites, even sites like momsnet got caught on that and as said, it reflects badly on our businesses for those that don't understand we aren't sanctioning things.
Not a laughing matter this one if I'm honest.

As a closed system, once breached it is up to Apple to sort it out. There was a vulnerability that they identified in 2012, but only recently told the World about. It was always going to happen.
Android is open, so anyone can jump in and try to fix it.
Neither is perfect, but I prefer to have the choice to find a fix myself.
