This article seems to be about Sterling......but read on to find the not so coded message that no one's position in the squad is safe. Everyone has to work hard with or without the ball. There are no passengers.

Not even if your name is Sergio Aguero.....

"To score five goals in two games is a good statistic. But he has to help us. It's not enough to receive the ball from his team-mates.

"He has to help us in the first pressure and run a lot and help us a lot with movement. He has - and the team has - been good. But we can do even more."

Guardiola purrs after Sterling silences Stoke boo-boys

Little Weasel was the presser supreme of lost causes, Kun can press, but maybe uses up too much energy, so is more selective when he does so. Mario and Bony had no clue, nor inclination about pressing. Does it make a difference, well it can put the keeper and defenders under pressure, and it certainly worked on us the first time we played Bayern. We were outclassed.

cue the 'Pep doesn't rate Kun' and 'Kun wants a move to [insert club] because he doesn't feel loved' headlines

I don't think it is in his mind to do that......I just think he was taking the opportunity to drive a message home that no one is immune from the need to continue to work hard and up their game. Not even Kun Aguero.
