Riot Police maybe, but not really Riots.
Anyway, it's right wing extremists organising the protests, so they don't count really.

I dont think anybody is actually doing the organising, Frigide Barjot is a visible figure but she isnt organising anything. All walks of life including women and children are involved in opposing the decision imposed onto society in France by a Socialist-majority Assembly.
This is the problem with pro gay, they assume its all right wing extremists but in fact many people just want normal family values.
Claire Baron, 41, a mother of two, said that she “will oppose the bill until the end.”
“I’ll keep going to the protests, I don’t give in. The bill is not effective yet, the president of the Republic must listen to our voices. We are here to defend family values. Children need a mom and a dad,” Baron said.
One of the biggest protests against same-sex marriage drew together hundreds of thousands of people bused in from the French provinces - conservative activists, schoolchildren with their parents, retirees, priests and others.
Recent opinion polls show that a majority –between 53% and 58%– of people in France support gay marriage.
According to Yves-Marie Cann, of the French polling firm CSA, those figures have remained constant throughout months of controversy. However, he noted that the number of people against adoption by same-sex couples has risen in recent months, with 56% now opposed to the measure.
