New VMC forum format

I've taking into consideration views from VMC members and acted accordingly. If i've missed anything please let me know.

When I deleted one of the forums I forgot to press a certain button which meant some of you will have lost forum points. I'm really sorry, it was a genuine mistake :doh!:

Personally I think the reduced forum format looks a lot better :hat off: What do you think?
 
Much tidier, Tudor, thankyou. Would you pin Rolling Results as a permanent thread? Apart from the matchday thread it is the most frequented.

Streamlined. We are picking up interested punters off the social media links and I have a had a couple of Blues previously tell me they thought the forums looked over complicated.
 
I prefer the new version.

Not a big issue but would it be possible to add a minute before the post edited message appears, i changed a word 10 seconds after posting this and it showed the edit message.

CT I don't think it does anything other than check for swear words eg Sc**thorpe.
 
I was wondering.... regarding the shield symbols next to each thread.... some are in colour, some are grey. Does anyone know why the difference?

I can change the shield symbols to a vast array of other symbols (the designer left us with a list to choose from) but why some turn grey and others don't is a mystery to me.

The way I do it is when i've pressed 'submit' is click back, amend the post and then press 'submit' again. The edit message shouldn't appear. Other than that then i'm at a loss as it will be a forum design issue.

I'm probably wrong, but I thought it was to identify new posts since last logon.

Blue shield means it's new
Grey means it's old/you've viewed it

I always thought the same but it doesn't appear to be the case. The thread title turns grey after viewing but the shield sometimes goes grey after viewing but sometimes doesn't.
 
Tudor, I won't rest easy until the mystery of the changing shields is solved.
Are you able to contact the Designer of All Things VMC, and ask him?
