New signings

I know we can all Google them but it’s much better to have first hand information on players i.e. have seen them play or know of them and what they bring to the table.
Is anyone expecting great things from those we have signed?
Are we anticipating a promotion push, relegation dogfight or mid table mediocrity?
Which areas still need attention and which players if any are we concerned we may lose or may walk away?

Personally think we’re moving in the right direction and obviously there is still work to do

I think I'm impressed with the signings so far. The sort of players I would hope a club like ours to be signing. Experienced without being past it and with what seems to be decent reputations. It seems like we actually paid money for at least one and presumably Campbell, at least, will be on a decent wage.

As I always say I have hopes and expectations for the coming season. I hope for promotion but expect better than last time around.

Signings, so far, seem good. They've all had good experience of playing in NL or above in recent seasons. Sarll, would appear to have a plan and structure for how he wants team to play. Hence, I'm hopeful of Pools being at least competitive in the coming season.

However, I do think NL will be very competitive with no dominant team, but equally no obvious "whipping boys" either.

It's gone quiet, think as a minimum Pools still need a reliable goalkeeper.

Perhaps we'll see someone in the Pools XI on Saturday, as Sarll has said they'll mainly be Trialists or Youth Team players.
