having watched the odd game at equivalent level (Excelsior & Sparta Rotterdam) my general thrust on defenders at that level has been excellent on the ball but less good at defending!

Wonder how much of a part it is intended he will play this coming season? It's a big call to replace the likes of Shackell and Bostwick with ball playing CBs from Holland!!!! I'm all for it
