do you lads actually remember these games or do you rely on DVD's / videos to jog your memory along the way

I was always too pissed to remember the details - infact if you asked me the score during half time I couldn't have told you

Bit of both for me, there's so many you can't possibly remember everything.

Silly things stick in the memory for me. I remember the Southend NYD game mentioned above because, in a time before phones, internet etc, I hadn't bothered to check the ko time. Arrived in Southend, hungover as hell, for a 3PM ko, only to be walking towards the ground with supporters walking the other way. Asked someone if I was walking in the wrong direction was told "you are now, it was a 12pm kick off."

That kind of shit sticks with you 😀

I had 2 football daft lads (sadly all my doing) and at the time I was working in Slough. I was home most weekends but the lads would religiously tape 'The Back Page' for me to watch the following weekend. For me the drinking before match had all but stopped before a game especially when when you are in charge of a couple of kids under 10.

Looks like the pre-season fixtures are done now although there's still nee retained list, player signings or strip details yet.

The games ahead are:

18th July - York City (a) and Harrogate Town (a) both listed as 2pm kick offs, so it'll obviously be two squads.

23rd July - Doncaster Rovers (a) 7pm kick off.

27th July - Rotherham United (a) 7pm

30th July - Burton Albion (a) 7.45pm.

Finishing on Saturday 7th August with Norwich City at St James' with a 2pm kick off.

I never heard that at Doncaster on Friday, I wasn't at Rotherham.

Nor York.

Where was this chanted?
I heard it on that faceshite stream that ScunnyMag did for definite last night. Was probably the highlight of it as well because if you thought some of the dross we served up last season couldn't be topped then last night's surpassed it by miles.

Im considering legal action over it as my eyes were abused.
