Right, so I met them today. First thing to say I guess, is that I love my new Porsche. Very kind of them!
The FCG group were invited to Bodymoor to meet the new owners representatives, they wanted to listen to us, not talk, they wanted to know who we were and to engage with the fan base.
It wasn't a meeting with an agenda, it was a meeting just to say hello, this is the FCG, this is how we think it can work, hopefully you can communicate how you think it could work etc. Very nice people.
Then, for a few minutes, the two new owners came in, said hello, that they were so happy to be here. It wasn't a lengthy meeting where we could start to ask about Grealish, FFP, budgets etc and with respect, they are only just through the door, they have much to do.
Must say though, very exciting to see two assured, calm people at the helm.
They'll no doubt have a bit of time and then communicate their plans. This wasn't more than hello, happy to be here, we respect the club and the fans.
Watch this space.... Feel very positive about this, I liked their relaxed style.
And it's no good asking me did they say this, did you ask that, etc... the answer to all that would be no! I'm actually always keen, as are most of the others I am sure, not to have anything confidential, I don't want to be part of a secret society, I want to be part of a group that gives our (your) feedback and then hopefully get some changes made to suit what we as fans want.
