I think this is another example of owners not having a clue about football.
I think Eustice had them in or very close to the play offs. If not overachieving then not far off it. To sack him was ridiculous. Effectively they think being a good player automatically equates to being a good manager when that often isn’t the case. Not as bad as the Toure appointment because at least Rooney had experience but just an example of owners not having a clue about football management.
