On Official Site, Pools have appointed Pete Wild as Head Coach along with Dave Conlon as his assistant .
It would appear Clayton and Liddle are still part of the setup, for the time being anyhow.

Hope Wild can turn our fortunes around and bring a modicum of success, at least!

Quite happy with the appointment of both Wild & Conlon.

Without being disrespectful I think we are lucky to attract people with their, recent, experiences, we’re hardly an attractive proposition at this current time.

Saturday looks a bit brighter now and should see them hit their first two objectives, get that first win under their belt which will, in turn, move us out of the relegation zone, kick starting our season.
This will trigger a steady ascent up the table, nothing meteoric, but finishing in a playoff spot. Somewhere most expected us to be come end of April ‘27, personally I expected us to win the league, maybe our disastrous start to the season has put paid to that, who knows.

I think we were all hoping Pools would win the league - even though this was overly optimistic in the face of experience!

As ever I'm optimistic of Pools improving their current situation, whilst at the same time anticipating impending disappointment. 🤷‍♂️

Pools have moved to strengthen the squad with 2 experienced players added this week.
Here's hoping they make a difference at FGR on Saturday 🤞

What does it say about the setup that Wild is bringing 3 in more or less straight away after seeing just one game. Looks like Beech and Bromby and Sons have been seen through.
