New Manager / First Team Coach

In the halcyon days of IORs stewardship of Pools there would be a Press Conference to announce the new manager (Neale Cooper, Danny Wilson, etc), of late little has been made of the latest managerial appointment.
I wonder if Landon / Bromby will setup a "Presser" to make an announcement of the next encumbant of the Pools "hotseat "?

Perhaps we'll have to wait until Landon's next visit to Hartlepool before we find out who'll be the next occupier of the Pools "hotseat"?

Looks like he wants his players to be exceptionally fit, playing high intensity high press football continually on the front foot. Doesn’t mind playing with one up front and a dynamic midfield, not afraid to switch it to a front three if needs be, whilst maintaining a more traditional solid back four. Short passing, quick movement of the ball, possession retaining football. He certainly talks the talk. It’s the ‘retaining possession’ in fast flowing almost chaotic games, particularly at this level, that concerns me a bit.

With this in mind he should know the type of players it needs, he should also have a bank of names who fit his preferred player profile. Is he respected enough throughout the game to get them here? He seems to support and encourage youth or young players so will we see U23 or U21 academy style signings from local clubs?

Keep your arms and legs inside the car at all times as it looks like the beginning of a rollercoaster ride, as some of his tenure’s have started with a ‘big drop’, had twists & turns, uphill climbs & even some heavy defeats.

With one other expected to join his staff we may see Liddle see out his contract and move on but who knows.

Interesting that Dave Challinor has left Stockport - the usual mutual agreement guff - wonder if that will also apply to Tony Sweeney?
These managerial changes are often long in the pipeline, so perhaps Pools have already made their move?
