Absolutely. Nottingham Forest are the original Garibaldi Reds, and should play in a block red garivaldi red shirt, without black, or indeed, stripes or other excessive white ( eg on the sides). A classic shirt for what should be a classic team.

Away kits: I have a sentimental attachment to yellow and blue, or white, but it is there that the creative colour palette can be indulged. I agree with whoever was liking the 90s kits, but do them as away kits. Bristol City have gone for some of those over the last few seasons.

Totally agree but have to admit that within all of that I loved the Labbatts Red top with the two blocks of black. Partly because it looked so different and partly because that season when we finished 3rd was good times so the shirt was a reminder…
 
Almost July and. It a peep on kit launch day or leaks on the design. Anyone remember when it was last season?
I guess preseason begins in 7-10 days also. Anyone know of a kit release date?

Yes agree. Home shirt should be red with white trim only. I also love the yellow and blue away kit and the white one from the 60s but there was also a blue away kit in the 60s that was mint.

In addition to the late 70s yellow with blue (which made a comeback at some point under Fawaz), I liked the blue with yellow waves "we live by the river" one from 2020-21. THere were probably some pretty poor performances in that though.

Yeah that is his son, the picture was taken on his 40th birthday & he had a tour of the ground, word down here is he had to stop for 20 minutes in the middle for a rest the fat old ****.
 
Agreed Pope It does look really good & I'm not one for buying replica shirts etc except for my Grandson but yeah that looks almost smart

It may not get the best out of Danilo or Murillo though- it is a bit like asking Forest fans to wear kit based on a Derby County kit- although I suppose Forest have had white away shirts in the past, just not with the black on them.
