New home shirt

There is something just WRONG with grown men wearing replica kits in my humble opinion but it seems to be acceptable these days for some reason. Its only acceptable or cool to wear one why on holiday abroad etc. I'm just an old school dinosaur I suppose but each to his own. I haven't had one since the Skol days but I bought them every season for my kids.
Also, tight fitting replica shirts combined with three quater length tracksuit bottoms is a crime no English man should ever commit!

Fat people look ridiculous in all sporting attire; and dont get me started about people who wear training shoes and never go to the gym.

Are we allowed to "body shame" in this modern world of ours?
One thing for certain, I see more people wearing sporting attire in my local supermarket than in my local gym. It also seems to be the uniform of choice with mobility scooter operators

I personally wouldn't wear it other than at an actual game or if I go running in the morning. My days of wearing one around town are long gone

I wear mine on holiday sometimes when I go to the pool and sometimes at the gym. I never tend to wear colours to a game, either home or away.

I live in Thailand and I have one of these "supposed copies". For comparison I also have originals from earlier seasons bought from the club shop.
These shirts are perfectly fine, all logos in the correct places and not cheap copy logos. The BOXT shirt even has the silver watermark logo down at the bottom of the shirt.
The shirts sold at Forest come from Thailand/ Malaysia/ Indonesia and I think the one I m wearing right now which cost 400 baht, thats less than £10, from Lazada, ( Thailands version of Amazon) is exactly the same shirt.
In UK they can sell for £50, here they go for £10. Not bought from a market stall. Not cheaply made, a good deal in fact.

You never know when you might have to run.
Now I'm typing it, it looks weird, but I'd rather run down the street than walk down it. Unless I'm with my family that is. I mean, what's the point of walking?

I wore one of mine today at physio for long Covid.
Long covid chap? Ive been off work since catching covid just before Easter. The flu like symptoms soon disappeared but ive been left with numbness and pain in my legs ever since and this makes it impossible to work. Are you going through the same thing chap? If so is the physio working? PM me if you don't want to answer here. Thanks

I had Covid last June. I still have no sense of smell and I am always exhausted. If I try to do anything like gardening etc I am wasted after 5-10 minutes and even if I do very little I can suddenly find myself needing to sleep and there is no resisting it.

I can walk for a while but no more than 10-15 minutes and I will ache for days after any exercise. I have permanent muscle fatigue and can never get enough sleep.

The brain fog is fun too and the bottom third of my lungs no longer work which is interesting.

It was my first session where they assess what I can and can’t do. They were very cautious and listened to me when I discussed my limits. They also kept an eye on me because I told them I could get a tad competitive.

It was through Action Heart and I must admit it was really good but we will see. Nothing has really worked so far so I don’t hold out a huge amount of hope.

Bloody Hell Basha, that's terrible. I really hope they can get you back on the mend on soon. I caught Canadian Covid in April, and was totally fine after 4 days. I had much worse colds.

Wishing you and Johnny Rotten a speedy recovery.

Cheers chap it really hasn’t been any fun and mine is classed as mild in some respects. There are certainly plenty who have had it worse.

2m cases now in Britain so if you only had a mild dose and avoided any long term effects you were lucky. 😁

Good grief mate, that's dreadful. Fingers crossed that you make a full recovery.

Im type 1 diabetic and right up to getting covid ive had no problem. Since then its completely fucked my blood sugar controls and they now think i might have nerve damage in my legs and feet. Walking is just about possible but only just and not for far. I have been referred to a specialist at the hospital but im still waiting for my appointment!! Im obviously doing what i can for myself but even mowing the lawn can put me out for 24 hours. Im also sleeping around the clock. Difficult shit times and i wish you a full and speedy recovery mate
