"New" grounds for 2018/19.

For many, more a case of returning to some old haunts. The northern exiles, particularly those in the north west, have done better than us southerners for 2018/19.

Grounds at Northampton and Macclesfield provide the biggest squeeze in respect of our potential away support.

Oldham Athletic...............away capacity 3,750
Northampton Town........away capacity 1,220
Milton Keynes Dons......."Moocamp" away capacity 3,000-8,000
Bury......................................away capacity 2,000
Tranmere............................ "Cowshed" away capacity 2,500
Macclesfield Town ........away capacity 1,900

Forgetting its ridiculous size, the facilities, including seating, toilets and concourse at MKD are second to none at our level.

Some good trips there; bring on the fixture list.

Out of the teams that will be in League Two next Season, I've not been to the following: Forest Green Rovers, Oldham Athletic and Tranmere Rovers.

Aiming to knock those three off, as well as other Stadiums I haven't been to in the top four divisions, during next Season!

MK Dons is on my list and we should be able to guarantee everyone a ticket who wants to attend due to it's capacity- would be a cracking Boxing day fixture!

Tranmere will be a trek but the rest are looking good- anything is better than Luton!!

I would sooner be going to Luton.

Looking forward to MK as just up the road. Hopefully unallocated seating.

I HATE going to Luton. Worst away seating by far and has been for 20+ years
(although Accrington did make a big effort to provide even worse seating).
Will look forward to mK dons too. Sad (and very wrong) how the club came about, but current owner wasnt part of that and has provided them with an excellent stadium.
Not been to Oldham for a long time...doubtless we'll get a Tues night in Feb...

The new lawn used to be nice when they were a decent village team in middle class Gloucestershire.

Now they make you walk round a field of mud get a drink in a sweaty tent and stand on crappy concrete.

Still was worth it the last 2 outings there have been electric.

Betvictor currently have us @ 250/1 for promotion!
Most of the other bookies have us @9 or 10/1!
Buzzard!

Only the cup competitions offer the chance of visiting grounds where I've not previously seen the Imps, just hope that:- the long distance ones are at weekends, tickets are readily available, many points are gathered

Quite close to me also and probably the comfiest seats I have ever sat upon in a football stadium. Was just as well as I recall we were stuffed 4-0 on my only visit there

As the OP said 'us' North Westerners are laughing. About 8 away days within an hour of Manchester and a cheap, fast, stress free train up to Carlisle backed up with Derbies at Cods, Stags, County and arguably Cambridge/Northants. Going to be another expensive season but what's not to like.

I thought the current owner had a huge part in the move? Either way he’s been a fervent supporter of that disgusting Franchise and is just as responsible in my eyes.

Oldham will be new for me, Tranmere, Macc and Bury convenient away days to add to Crewe and Vale. Watch the fixture list timing be all wrong!

Interesting that there’s not too many ‘new’ grounds to visit next season. Although the memories of Welling, Borehamwood, Bath and Sutton are still raw so I’m grateful for having Oldham and Bury back again!

Bit disappointed as a London exile that two of the nearest games are Northampton and tbhe Franchise. Two of the most soulless grounds in the country.

Well there are 6 grounds I have not been too on that list.

Colchester United ( Although I went to Layer Road bouncing on those wooden boards))
Crawley Town
Forest Green Rovers
Milton Keynes Dons (Although I went when we played them at The Hockey Stadium)
Newport County
Tranmere Rovers.

Aiming to tick all those off next season unless we get any of them away on a Tuesday night as due to family and work commitments I struggle to do Tuesday nights away although I did get to Coventry last season!
