New Forums

Vital Football Legend
VMC and the rest of the Vital Network will get new forums very soon. Vital Villa will be the first and this is what Jonathan Fear (boss) wrote....

Next week - we will be moving to a nice newly designed front page and new forums.

These current forums are no longer developed and have fallen behind.

All should be well, we appear to have been able to export all members, the details, post counts etc.

There might well be glitches to start with, and my techie partner and myself might have to play to get it looking 100% right for us all.

We'll happily take feedback and questions, and I know you'll understand it might all be a bit mad busy for a few days as we also get to grips with it all.

Some really good steps forward forum wise. You'll be able to easily bold, italicise, underline, change fonts/colours and also embed youtube/gifs/images MUCH easier.

I'm sure we'll all very quickly feel very at home in the new set up, I'm quietly confident (and also praying for good measure)

Not 100% what day but will update as it all gets set to go live.

Quite excited.

If for any reason you can't login, email membership@vitalfootball.co.uk and state your username and email address registered with and we'll sort. But as said, fairly confident it has all transferred over well.

Any members who haven't logged in during the last 2 years will have to re-register.

Things like Twitter images / posts blah blah will be easy to add to the new looking boards.

Exciting times ahead :005:

A good time to do it whilst there is no "real" footie on.
:026:

I wonder if it will be easier to add an avatar pic. I've never managed to do it.

Looking forward to seeing the new look forums . Thanks for all the had work :005:

The ability to add other elements from social media etc that have grown in popularity over the past few years will certainly be welcomed :026:

Does that means everything will be on the front page or do we still have forums inside?

I'll find out more on Monday Buzz. The new investment company boss wants to have a chat next week.

I must be doing something right as his email has made my head swell.

Well we will just have to widen the door

Video call between me, Jonathan and the main man at Snack Media booked between 4-5pm tomorrow (Tuesday). Gulp, i'm a tad nervous and not worthy :064:

Between 7am and 1pm, today Vital Villa will be changing to the new format.

I have no idea how the new system will look but if you are interested it might be worth popping over every now and then just to see if Jonathan and the team have changed to the new format etc.

Once any issues, if there are any, have been ironed out the whole Network will migrate over to the new servers over the next week or so.

How exciting!

Over on the Villa board it looks like they're having problems.
It seems it will now be tomorrow (Wednesday).

Had a chat with those in the know.
Inital issues will be resolved before the wider Vital rollout. I've had a brief preview and :043: you guys shoud be impressed. I might even be bold as to say we will be one of the City fan base market leaders.

The Vital Villa site has now been updated. We will get something very similar, very soon.

Looking very good, Mr. T.
If I'm right, It seems that the adverts masquerading as the last post on a thread has disappeared which can only be good news.

I've had a little play over on Villa. Its a piece of piss to add GIFS, YouTube stuff, Twitter material. The list goes on.

The site upgrade will not bring the Network into the 21st Century but beyond.
