Next week - we will be moving to a nice newly designed front page and new forums.

These current forums are no longer developed and have fallen behind.

All should be well, we appear to have been able to export all members, the details, post counts etc.

There might well be glitches to start with, and my techie partner and myself might have to play to get it looking 100% right for us all.

We'll happily take feedback and questions, and I know you'll understand it might all be a bit mad busy for a few days as we also get to grips with it all.

Some really good steps forward forum wise. You'll be able to easily bold, italicise, underline, change fonts/colours and also embed youtube/gifs/images MUCH easier.

I'm sure we'll all very quickly feel very at home in the new set up, I'm quietly confident (and also praying for good measure)

Not 100% what day but will update as it all gets set to go live.

Quite excited.
 
If for any reason you can't login, email membership@vitalfootball.co.uk and state your username and email address registered with and we'll sort. But as said, fairly confident it has all transferred over well.

Any members who haven't logged in during the last 2 years will have to re-register.

Yes it's a very serious situation we are facing here. I hope the forums are up and running asap with the minimum of fuss and disruption.

Can't wait for the cash incentive scheme to start linked to how many posts you do. Great idea. And very generous.
 
He's repeating himself now. I'm beginning to worry about the bloke, although granted I might be the reason driving him insane?

For god sake though JPA, don't ask JF to help with the data port, he'd mail it somewhere misunderstanding the word transfer and how computers work!

So tomorrow it is. Anything from 7am to around 1pm won't be transferred to the new forums but obviously you can keep chatting in the morning on here (unless it disappears!)

Just if - and lets be honest, it's unlikely :3: you post something really good or important, you might want to save it in an email or whatever to re-post later!

And don't over panic to start with, if you aren't sure etc, everytime we change people start off missing the old forums and then can't imagine life on the old ones once they are used to the new set up.

We are moving to a lovely rinky dinky new set up, it is much better. This one, we just can't keep functioning properly now, too old.

You'll all be able to have a play, I'll do some instructions in a bit as well.
 
There appears to be an edit button that allows me to delete and freeze threads. I haven't tested to see if it works, and I assume it may be for administrators only?

I thought I'd let you know, before I freeze the conspiracy thread.
