New Delph Blow?

Midfielder Fabian Delph has withdrawn from the England squad with a presumably unspecified knock.

I'm beginning to wonder whether there is a clause in the contracts of the medical and physiotherapist departments which requires the club to sign at least one perma-injured/injury prone players per season :doh!!!:

I'd be questioning why Woy saw fit to start him in a friendly when he is currently being eased back in by his club. The ironic thing is he could end up losing his place in the England set up if he's not playing regularly for his club side when the injuries he's sustained happened on international duty.

So I can look this up in one minute and we still keep buying injury challenged players, hard to blame poor old Wow for having the temerity to start him, we should not be buying players with poor injury records.

That link just goes to show what a crock of shit Physioroom is, there are a number of reported injuries on there that correspond with dates in which he played matches.

I wouldn't describe Woy's playing him for an hour in a meaningless friendly as temeritous, I'd go for reckless.

Surely you can play and be injured playing, as was the case pre-season against Real Madrid? He has only made 3 EPL and 1 CL appearance so far this season.

If you were to take that page at face value JK then it looks like he picked up 6 different injuries last season when in fact he only picked up one.

Delph trained with the squad yesterday, seems his withdrawal from the England squad may have just been precautionary.

It's his name KTC.

Regarding Delph I think he is one of a few that we have bought with an ongoing injury.

Ah, I see.

Assumed Delph was injured, may have to rearrange the berti on You Are The Manager and replace Silva with 'Fabulous' Fabian.
