New car!

As a present to myself on officially reaching my private pension age (superannuation), I've treated myself to a brand new car which arrives next week - a Honda CR-V. I just couldn't walk past the deal including warranty, capped price services, licensing, roadside assist etc etc. Works out around £20,000 of your English pounds.

Diesels are holding their price and increasing in their equity at the minute over here

'er in doors has the 1.5 diesel. This is her 3rd she loves them. Massive boot for the dogs.

I was looking at the Civic hybrid what a really clever car.

I'm loving it Hasty. Comfortable to drive and very economical too. Our dog wouldn't go in the boot (read: my wife wouldn't let him go in the boot) so he has a big plush bed that stretches across most of the back seat with a foam insert underneath to make sure he's high enough to see out.


Ruined is that dog, ruined.

Just replaced my Oldfartmobile Berlingo with a 12 ýear old diesel golf., main dealer serviced from new, one owner whom I know. Got 73.1 mpg on a drive from Bridlington to Bath and fitted 14 tubs of horse manure for the garden in it.
