No surprise.

Very disappointing though, I thought he would be good in League Two.

Good luck Nathan, whatever you do. And thank you for 2016-17.

No surprise that really.
Good luck to him and thanks for memories and the wonderful goals in 2016/17.

Thanks for the memories Nath. He's deactivated his facebook page. I hope all is ok with him.

The goal against Ipswich and the winner at Gateshead will always be two of the best moments in my Lincoln supporting life. Shame he couldn't make the step up but all the best to him.

Sad day for us knowing he prob won't play for the Imps ever again. I wish him well and hope he can find what he wants in the future.

I don't think I've ever seen a better Lincoln goal than Marriott-Arnold against Ipswich. The setting, the timing, the occasion, the pass, the run and the dummy - all were beyond perfect.

We are poorer without him. Let's hand over to our Spanish friend...

Even with a pay off we will save some money on his wages! Personally im abit surprised he got a 2yr deal last year.

Unforgettable moments, as has been said the late late winners against Ipswich and at Gateshead were my standout goals, the latter almost confirming promotion. Thanks for the memories Nathan and good luck

I always thought this was likely to happen. He seems to have fallen out of love with the game. I wish him well in whatever he decides to do

Good luck Nathan, thanks for those great memories.

Dambusters at the end of the Gateshead game #magic.

Hope we see him at Sincil Bank from time to time, like Simon Yeo and some of the other ex-players.

Presume the paying up of the contract was more in the club’s favour, if he has stopped wanting to play.

First Woodward and now Arnold :( Another of the class of 17 no longer an Imp. I will be forever grateful for his goals especially against Ipswich and the winner against Gateshead. These both helped make a season and the memories will live longer than I will. Thank you very much NA.

Thanks for your fantastic contribution Nathan, will play your Ipswich goal many times over, keep thinking you will be offside one of these times !

Yes, the goal against Ipswich still gets me excited. But I also remember him chatting to supporters while "warming up" as a sub at Nantwich with just a few hundred in the ground, and what an articulate young man he is (coincidentally Alex W was also a sub that night). Hope all goes well for him
