That'll 'cool' the transfer talk surrounding Samir Nasri!

Which is something we've seen build up again with talks of a move to Juventus or a reunion with Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan in January mentioned, however such talk is hardly new though regarding the 28-year-old though.

Not only will the Man City winger miss the return to Premier League action this weekend, which was always going to be the case anyway, he'll not play against this year with him set to sit out until around February time.

As has been said, we'll manage without him. Shame though as he's a decent player when he's buzzing around the 18 yard box inter-playing with David.

He seems to be winding down his career now and only 28 years of age. Saw his interview with the EDS kid on the main site and he seemed like some old stager giving tips to a youth player on how to have a great career. You'd have thought at 28 and having spent much of the last couple of seasons on the sidelines with injuries that he'd be more focused on ensuring he got the most out of his own career.

Seems to be the way now. Multimillionaire by the age of 21 or 22, can't be arsed playing or competing for a place with his own national team or his club side, sharing anecdotes about his career with kids and writing his autobiography next now doubt.

Don't know how focussed or otherwise he is CB but the senior squad are all assigned a youth player to mentor. I thought he came across very well in that vid, a far cry from the poncey twat impression I often get from him.
