Foul ref!
Kevin Keelan was born in India but was english

Foul ref!
Ruel Fox was born in Ipswich and played for England B in 1994
(although he did play for Monserrat - ten years later!!!)

Foul ref!
Martin Olsson hasnt played at right back according to a reliable database

Excellent choice of Ron Davies at centre forward

Please dont shoot the messenger! :hang: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Not best but all different nationalities from the players I've seen (no brits)

Theo - Australia

Helveg - Denmark
Stefanovic - Serbian
Whitbread - American
Olsson - Sweden

Brellier - France
Pattison - South African
Hernandez - Cuban
Ofoe - Belgium

Pukki - Finland
Mbokani - Congolese

Great line up Bears ! a reminder of some of the horrific players I have had the bad luck to have to watch

Okay...

Pukki out - van Wolfswinkle - Dutch (nice guy and I think hughton's tactics destroyed him but his record is atrocious)

Hernandez out - Becchio - Argentina (go 4-3-3)

Olsson out - Franke - German

This is a great thread. Here’s my effort...

Tim Krul (Netherlands)
Steen Needergaard (Norway)
Timm Klose (Switzerland)
Duncan Forbes (Scotland)
Mark Bowen (Wales)
Martin O’Neil (NI)
Martin Peters (England)
Onel Hernandez (Cuba)
Emi Buendia (Argentina
Wes Hoolahan (Republic Ireland)
Teemu Pukki (Finland)

I could easily have chosen lots of different players in different positions but that would mean sacrificing someone else. Such as Bryan Gunn going in goal would mean I’d have to lose Duncan Forbes or putting in a Huckerby, a Crook or a Holt would mean losing Martin Peters. Tough choices but fun to do.
This isn’t a “best ever City XI” but under those rules, I reckon they’d give anyone a game.

I was doing a survey a couple of years ago and in one room hanging proudly on a wall was a framed as worn shirt belonging to Bertie.
I did not manage to spot any sweat marks :grinning::grinning:

I like this idea. Here's my go.

Timm Krul (Netherlands)
Thomas Helveg (Denmark)
Timm Klose (Switzerland)
Malky Mackay (Scotland)
Jamal Lewis (Northern Island)
Emi Buendia (Argentina)
Damien Francis (Jamaica)
Thomas Trybull (Norway)
Onel Hernandez (Cuba)
Teemu Pukki (Finland)
Iwan Roberts (Wales)

Worst 11 ( as started by Bears )

Can anybody make it even worse ?

Theo - Australia

Helveg - Denmark
Stefanovic - Serbian
Whitbread - American
Franke - Germany

Brellier - France
Pattison - South African
Becchio - Argentina
Ofoe - Belgium

Hartson - Wales
Mbokani - Congolese
