Yesterday we reported that Manchester City footballer Joe Hart parked his Bentley in a disabled bay at the city's Trafford Centre while taking his girlfriend out for dinner. It turns out we were wrong, along with The Sun and other outlets which posted the story.

As has been reported on TalkSport, the passer-by whose photo was seen in the press simply saw the Bentley parked inconsiderately, then saw Hart in the nearby Nando's and put two and two together, getting five.

In our haste to bring you the story we neglected to independently verify the facts and erroneously stated that it was indeed a Bentley belonging to Joe Hart.

And why am I apologising? Mine is for what I wrongly thought of him, which is not suitable for a family forum of delicate types.

Ah, with you now about the pm Steff.

Good to see he isn't one of the scummers.

Remember being told by a neighbour about Ashley Young parking in a disabled spot at a gym.

I told someone else who said 'why would you need a disabled spot at a gym'.

People really don't get it do they!? lol

treated my dad to a breakfast at the local golf course (best breakfast in redditch by a country mile) and when we arrived all the disabled parking was full up, thought nothing of it except joked it must be a doing an offer for cripples.

whilst sat down waiting he said, notice your the only one with mobility problems (as in crutches), i said maybe some have heart conditions or cancer etc .... unfortunately it so turned out a few of the owners of the cars were out on the golf course (as did enquire about the parking for next time).

I honestly don't understand it badge, to park in one of those spaces when fit, *shudders*. I have never been able to wrap my head around it at all.

People really should celebrate the fact their legs work and use them! How can you park in a disabled space and then go and play golf? Unless I guess some use the buggies.

i think a few have been caught out and indeed prosecuted for claiming mobility component of the disability fear, i for one could never play golf, just looking at the action of the swing alone makes me winch ...

would have a guess that the ones who do the disabled parking are the"im old, i can do what i want crowd" as sure you have met a few of these when parking, i certainly have.
