ST2 do you know anything about this?

I know that. ST2 knows his stuff and I was wondering if he had any insight into it. I was told there are several high quality digital options and am just starting to research it.

Anyone who is already interested in high quality sound would've already been purchasing their files in Lossless/Flac format.
Otherwise, you will have to re-purchase everything again with this.

I think it's a bit of a dud but I buy vinyl or Lossless digital.
There are cheaper devices that already incorporate big file downloading.

Galv is on this 80, I pretty much only buy vinyl and worry more about the bit rate if I do download.

I am in no way knowledgeable enough in this area.

Just getting into it. I know very little about it. Not that concerned about replacing what I have. We are planning on completely revamping our home systems. I would like something that can move between locations. Vinyl is not practical.

Then this is right up your alley 80. I just wonder how many companies his development have onside. I'd imagine they'll go a-ways to grind out some deals but it's a very over blown market already.
The thing it seems to have going for it, is that it states that you will be able to convert lossless quality to just about any song. One has to wonder how far back they really can go.
On the short of it, this device could be your new love-in.
Forget that Conrad Black fellow! ;)

Hehehehe. Which site(s) do you buy from?

This is interesting...read the whole thread.

soul seek is a good illegal source (as the name suggests its more for black music but not just soul)

Recently encountered Juno legal download but not sure how good the quality is. Fantastic track sampling Gil Scott Heron I heard on there called 'We Gonna Rule the World'

on Vol 9 - 10 mins of solid groove (just move on the peak meter at the top of the page to hear all of it)

Anyone like Mumford and Sons?
Yep. I remember seeing them in Belfast couple of years back, I think it was Open House Festival 08, and thought they were great. So was excited when their first album came out and I loved it! The sort of folky rock was up my street. The 2nd album I found a bit 'meh', but still better (for me) than alot of stuff being released these days...

Phosphorescent, The Vaccines.... yes, go and see!

Mumford & Sons... gimme a lobotomy!

Mumford and Sons are considered leading exponents of the new, below the radar, 'Christian' rock/folk. They are, therefore, either much loved or much vilified with equal intensity! I guess you need to listen to the music and make up your own mind.

Mumford & Sons? Oh you poor innocents. Get some of this
