You say that Cornflakes but as a DCM he would be worth £180-190mI for one say we cash in for a cool £10m while we can, before other clubs start twigging how shit he actually is.
Too stocky, can't jump, the kid is Championship standard

Don't you think Knackers will have thought of these underhanded negotiating tactics?Exactly.
Some think, medium to small sized clubs can dictate terms to, would-be, world-class players: no chance.
If one of the big boys come knocking they'll pretend to agree with our terms, (thus being granted permission to negotiate with Murillo's advistors), Murillo will become starry-eyed at their £300k-per-week salary and image rights and when Forest sit down with their team to sign a £70m deal...will be offered £40m and the rest in clauses never to be achieved.
What then happens?
Keep Murillo who has had his head (legitimately) turned: they've not tapped him up, so i aint done nothing wrong, mate.
Or, take a reduced deal on better terms?
At the end of the day, its immaterial as we'll never know what he'll be sold for.
But, for those thinking £100m+ need to stop smoking the demon weed.
FFS!By the way chap, how is Roger these days?
AFAIK he's under contract to us for another couple of years.Exactly.

Anderson to play the MGW role and Yates and JWP to cover the central defenders..Their is a long gam to be layer here. Keeping an unhappy player, against their aspirations because you have a contract not only means they play below par thus diminishing asset but sends a message to potential other possibl buys that your career pathway is blocked.
If a player, such as Murillo, had gone to a bigger club he would probably be sitting on the bench. By playing this season he will improve a bit more. I get the sense his positioning has already improved. His price probably maxes out end of this season. Other players see his trajectory and development and perceive Forest as being a good stepping stone. Unlike Giminez.
A lot depends on requirements of buying clubs. For instance Newcastle sell an unsettled Gordon to Liverpool at high price require a young winger and thus offer over the odds for Elanga. Replacements are in suad or earmarked. Think Carmo has been bought with selling this year in mind. Price will determine probability of sale but cards are all in Forests hand.
One of the interesting aspects of this weekends game is do we have a replacement in the squad for MGW should price be met. Anderson or Jota?
Not being fussed about future speculation...then proceed to speculate a top-six finish, a european cruise and £100m for Murillo.AFAIK he's under contract to us for another couple of years.
So if he continues to shine and we crash the top six, he can play for us in Europe. He seems happy enough just now so I'm not fussed about future speculation.
But if he stays, we do well in Europe, and then he moves on, £100 million would not be unreasonable.
As I said, I don't see any point in talking about us selling Murillo just yet. Why would we?Not being fussed about future speculation...then proceed to speculate a top-six finish, a european cruise and £100m for Murillo.
Have a pint of whatever you're drinking, pal.
Well, you speculated a top-six finish, european jaunt and that leading to a £100m price tag.As I said, I don't see any point in talking about us selling Murillo just yet. Why would we?
Just pointing out that if we don't sell, he's good enough to help with enough success to put him in a pretty high price bracket. Do you disagree?
Financailly, no doubt, we can stand firm for these super-high valuations and offers.
What we can't do, is become a club we're not i.e. one of the elite in Europe/World through money alone.
When any of the Mega EPL Six come knocking, or Real, PSG or Barcelona any of our stars will have their heads turned...and we, in turn, our pants down.
You missed the word if.Well, you speculated a top-six finish, european jaunt and that leading to a £100m price tag.
It's a very specific set of circumstances that inexorably means nine figure transfer fees.
So, yeah, that works.
It won't happen, but, yeah in a made-up fantasy world of make believe, Forest will sell Murillo for £100m.
If none of that happens, we’ll be lucky to receive £30m…if, if and maybe. You missed the word if.
No harm in pointing out what his value would be in that set of circumstances. But you have to make an argument out of it.
I quite like arguments. How long have you got? Actually, you're not worth it.
If none of that happens, we’ll be lucky to receive £30m…if, if and maybe.
After todays game, an easy 35m.so your worse case scenario is we nearly triple our money...
After todays game, an easy 35m.
If he scored, and if we won, and if he didn’t concede a penalty and if MGW wasn’t banned and if it wasn’t chilly and if the ref hadn’t taken the decisions he did and if the beer wasn’t flat….£300m, easy.
I like this, chap, really, really, really, really like this.I'd like to think murillo was doing his best to put off the circling big beasts. he's thinking give a penalty and I can stay at forest.
it's this type of attitude that will keep forest great chap.
I also read big beasts as something else...might be my warped mind, and all that stuff/slipdyxinyaI'd like to think murillo was doing his best to put off the circling big beasts. he's thinking give a penalty and I can stay at forest.

I like this, chap, really, really, really, really like this.
It raises a philsophical thought: is he both an £600m+ player and is not a 600m+ player?
Kind of a schrodingers centre-back-cum-left-winger, one might postulate.
When he plays well he is simultaneously a lower-league clogger prone to defensive lapses...but, with a planck length symmetry is also the reincarnation of maldini/baresi/ferdinand (he is 6'3, after all)/Walker/Blanc/Terry rolled into one?
