Yep. Just been reading a few articles on it. He is close to irreplaceable so it will be interesting how they try to solve it. Going to cost them too.Manchester City have a huge Rodri sized hole to fill.

According to FIFA, Murillo is joint-3rd in the top five UEFA leagues at "counter-pressing psuedo adjacent linear upper quartile heading".Are there any other sites publishing this apart from those clickbait loons at HITC?
Has he really gotten better at jumping or has his positional sense improved?
I would say its the latter; he is now getting into positions to win the ball in the air.
Its a shame we do not have some statistics to work with - Murillo's headers won from passive jumping or dynamic positioning.
Note to self: stop inventing idiotic football terminology, remember what happened last time?
We have planned, with purchase of Carno for end of season move.
We have learnt from attempted transfers you can only attract big names (and they weren’t that big) if you/they are not threatened by relegation and clauses and even better likelihood of Europe. Too attract names we need to be in Europe or threatening to be.
Third point is most of the clubs mentioned are spent close to limit re PSR.

Not sure we will get £70m for him. The way things are going, unless we do a Palace we aren’t going to get much more than £50m for him…you made the point I would make. which one of those teams could afford the £70m he is worth?
none of em so sit down and shut up htic
I think if we dont get 70m he stays with us. I think if his season continues like this, we will get more than 70mNot sure we will get £70m for him. The way things are going, unless we do a Palace we aren’t going to get much more than £50m for him…
The market is on a downward trajectory so I am not convinced we will see that sort of fee for him.I think if we dont get 70m he stays with us. I think if his season continues like this, we will get more than 70m
Then he has to stay. He has a contract until 2028 I thinkThe market is on a downward trajectory so I am not convinced we will see that sort of fee for him.

And we will sign Kelleher in January I thinkThe Serb at the back is making the difference and the new ledt back is looking good as well...the more this quartet, including Aina, settles the harder it will be for teams to score against us...
Livershit won’t let Kelleher go until the summer. By that time Southampton will be down and we will have the choice of Kelleher or Ramsdale. And we will sign Kelleher in January I think
)I have a feeling they will, and as a back up for half a season we could propose what we did with Turner, and include Sels. Allison will play in 95% of the games anyway, and Sels has proven to be an able PL keeper who's best role is likely to be as a back up.Livershit won’t let Kelleher go until the summer. £70m would make him the joint 4th most expensive PL defender ever. (Only 10m off Maguire.)
If he continues like this, he will set the record for a defender. Lets just measure the value of Murillo against Caciedo and Fernandez. If they are both 105-115m, then nothing less than 130m for Murillo.murillo is better than Maguire, a veritable bargain.
Well I wouldn't swap him for Maguire.murillo is better than Maguire, a veritable bargain.
Allison is injured again and has a history of injuries. Livershit won’t sell unless they have a replacement ie the Georgian who arrives at the end of the season.I have a feeling they will, and as a back up for half a season we could propose what we did with Turner, and include Sels. I think Kelleher will push for a move and will get it if teams come in for him
Not a chance. If he continues like this, he will set the record for a defender. Lets just measure the value of Murillo against Caciedo and Fernandez. If they are both 105-115m, then nothing less than 130m for Murillo.
Those 2 players a bang average and their true value is over half what Chelsea paid
