Moving & Beautiful Video

The Fear

A Wise Man (once sat next to him)
This is just beautiful. The trust between father and son..

How moving.

(Not for the wider issue talk, we have the Paris again thread for that, just thought people would like to see this)

Agreed SJH... I remember my nephew when he was four asking me (not related to terrorism) "why can't we all just get along" with his hands waving about in exasperation whilst asking!

I still couldn't answer that 15 years on...

Heartbreaking Fear

I remember as a young kid thinking there would never be a World War 3, even no more racism. We'd just be nice to each other and get along, because we would learn from our mistakes.

And then I grew up. Must have been born on the wrong planet!

Just love the trust between the son and his father. If only we could keep that! Pure of heart. I love how he turns to the interview guy and says 'the flowers and candles protect us'

Bless him and whilst I'm in a good mood, bless everyone who doesn't want to blow up anyone else!

I was waiting at some traffic lights today by Cuckoo Bridge and the guy infront of me moved forward 8 feet before the lights had changed and I looked to my left and saw an Asian fella sitting in his car bewildered..We both smiled at each other and made those.... Whats he doing ?.... sort of actions with our hands.
This might sound daft, but afterwards I thought ....some of these asian guys are getting some serious unwarranted grief purely because they are asian. Watching that video for some reason reminded me of this today.I hope our smiles gave the asian guy some more confidence and re assurance that we don`t all blame everyone with brown skin for IS `s actions

Agreed Club..

Taxi driver the other week, Pakistan origin, lived in England for 20 years, nicest fella you could meet. Talked about the poverty where he grew up, some great stories of his dad having to go out hunting in the mountains to bring food etc.

He said he just couldn't understand why others can't see what a great country we have here in England and yet he - even with that opinion - has to face abuse because of where he is from!
