MOTM v Swansea - League Cup

Vinny was indeed excellent and needed to be the odd time Stones realesed a brain fart.

Thought Navas had a great second half.

Vinny for me, amazed that he started after 4 months out, but he stood out at the back for us. 9 changes made it hard work for us, so we need to do them again at the weekend.

VK4 bossed the defence but I was also impressed with Garcia75 who at times bossed midfield and filled in at right back when Zab went on a mini adventure to the byline.

Stones has hopefully got his errors out of the way, Angelino is not a midfielder and Diaz had a brief cameo and certainly looked up for it. Everyone else 6 out of 10.

That strip is the worst strip ever invented, Garcia looks good, wants the ball and could replace Merlin in the not too distant future.

Garcia for me, we were sloppy all over the park last including young Aleix but I thought he was our best player.

Have to apologise to Brahim Diaz for forgetting to include him above, it was great to see him make his debut.

I thought Vinnie was excellent and looked in control but that lunge when he knew something had gone.

Navas was all over the place and was faster than i have seen him for ages. Clichy he too playing a role that we have not sen and he popped up for the goal. Zabaleta gets a mention.
