What a find Delph is, I am really pleased for him, he is a really good player. Kevin De Bruyne best game in a City shirt to-date.

Captain Silva,amazing.

Red Kev masterclass gets all the chocolates for me, just hope he can stay fresh and fit. Also an honourable mention for Walker with his run from the halfway line into the box, a perfect example of how this team is a real team.

Kevin was outstanding :021: , Silva is becoming our ‘Iniesta’, and Gabriel Jesus whose selfless running and movement is an absolute nightmare for defenders.

But I could have voted for them all.

One point - a penny for Claudio Bravo’s thoughts who must be looking at the way we are playing and wishing he could have had this sort of ‘protection’ from the whole team performance last season.

It's the other way round I am afraid Skoorb, It's Eddy that gives the back four confidence, what a buy.

Good point - Ederson’s competence clearly having an influence and infusing the players in front of him with confidence. I suspect Claudio might be thinking ‘I could have done that’ if we’d played that well’ but I think he was holed benieath the water line as soon as he landed in this country and the relentless media campaign and the pressure from opponents was corrosive to his and the team’s confidence. He never recovered. That said, Ederson’s performances have not allowed that to happen and any inklings of doubt were quickly extinguished so your point is well made.

Kev,Fernandinho and Jesus for me but again they all did a magnificent job.
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago about Ederson giving the defenders more confidence and I still think that so I’m with Buzz on that.

The benefits of a full preseason with the squad accustomed to the style of football they're required to play, plus full backs who can defend as well as attack and not being in the shadow of a fan favourite.

All of the above has played its part in helping Ederson settle. Long may his and the team's form continue.

Very much so, because we too were very new to the playing out from the back, getting caught in possession made Claudio an easy target when things went wrong, but now look at the movement of the back four when the ball travels back giving eddy 4 or 5 options and that didn't happen a year ago when Claudio was between the sticks
