Realised I left Holj off.....7. Decent game. I am ok with him when he just keeps it simple & gets the ball to someone nearby.

Vicario - 7 - Came up with a phenomenal stop to deny Yates in the first half and spread his body well to distract Wood when he hit the rebound off the post, not much else to do.

Pedro Porro - 7 - Poor first half, great strike in the second.

Romero - 5 - Got lucky on a few occasions when trying to play out from the back. Gave a couple of silly fouls away, and a very poor pass, going backwards at the moment.

Van de Ven - 9/10 - Ridiculous speed, yet being relied on too much by his team mates, specially Udogie. Fantastic strike from a CB.

Udogie - 4 - Looked lazy for their goal and generally in the first was less than good enough, better in the second half.

Sarr - 5 - Way off, deserved to be taken off.

Bissouma - 5 - another whose his defensive instincts left much to be desired, notably failing to track back for Wood's equaliser. Similarly hooked at half-time, and deserved to be - did start with promise but seemed to lose his energy far too quickly. Still not fully recovered from the malaria?

Johnson - 5 - Been in good form lately but looked like he couldn't walk past a fish and chip shop, running into dead ends fairly frequently. Poor ball control too many times when it matters.

Maddison - 6 - Yates got to him and got a little bit frustrated in the first half. When will ref's wake up to what defenders are doing to him game after game?Much improved after the break, coming up with the cross which led to Porro's goal.

Werner - 8 - Had Williams on toast for much of the evening, sauntering past him with ease. Produced the cross which led to Murillo's own goal.

Son - 6 - Off the boil, just doesn't seem to know where he should be or where he should be running in the first half, improved a bit in the second

Subs​

Bentancur - 7- Took more care with the ball in midfield and was also potent in more dangerous areas. Please get this man back to full fitness so he can start again!

Hoj - 6 - Brought defensive intensity and solidity, which Bissouma lacked though was caught in possession a couple of times much to the ire of home fans: he simply isn't the one with the quickest feet or decision-making.

Kulu - 6 Put in a shift, still not fit and it showed

Lo Celso - 6 Tried Hard

Scarlett - still have no idea if he's good enough for the PL.

Ange - 8 - Our Defensive fragilities had us wobbling again but intervened at exactly the right time with his subs and helped us gain the dominance back

V Notts Forest

Vicario - 8 He frankly saved us in the first half.
Pedro Porro - 6 Brilliantly taken goal but passing a positioning poor. Needs to improve that.
Romero - 5. For me very disappointing. There is an arrogance in his play just now and he is far too slow moving us forward.
Van de Ven - 8.5 Faultless in defence and what a goal! (MOM)
Udogie - 4. What has happened to him. He was awful. Failed to get back defensively, passing awful, failed to see key passes and I am afraid of what Saka might do to him.
Sarr - 5.5. Rather aimless but energetic. Contributed nothing. Correct decision to sub him with Bentancur.
Bissouma - 5.5. Started really well but lost his way. His defensive. Cover was weak and his forward passing suspect. A great improvement amazingly when Hojberg replaced him.
Johnson - 6. Some excellent crosses that went begging. Was matched for pace by their full back which negated a lot of his threat.
Maddison - 5.5. Too deep and generally very average. Lucky to stay on the pitch after assaulting Yeats.
Werner - 7.5 Showed plenty of desire and put in some great crosses. How we need a CF to get one end of these although their 40 managed well!
Son - 5.5 Yet again weak and without space offers no threat.

Bentancur - 8 best game since back. He was excellent in all aspects of play and gave with Hojberg the energy we desperately needed after HT.
Hojbjerg - 8. Repeat my comments on Bentancur
Kulusevski - Not rated but hardly saw him and when I did he was ineffective.
Lo Celso - Got kicked all over the park but for a change bounced back.
Scarlett - Nothing to say.

Ange - 8.5 Exactly the right changes at the right time.
The team - 7 as an average across the 2 halves

Vicario - 7.5 - Magnificent save....overall great game
Pedro Porro - 7 - Nice goal, overall was back to his usual self.
Romero - 4 - Poor game...seemed lost. I was actaully hoping Drago would come on.
Van de Ven - 8.5 - MoM - Said it during the match...give me a handful more of this guy and we will win the title! Love this guy!
Udogie - 4 - Lazy, sloppy, falls down continuously looking for fouls. At this rate, give me Davies.
Sarr - 4 - Young and learning...but man he continuously looks out of place. I lost count of the amount of times I was like..."What the hell are you doing over there?"
Bissouma - 3.5 - I just don't get it....win the midfield that is your job. I have to wonder if AP is telling these guys to attack and give up the midfield...just strange. Like neither Biss or Sarr have any intent on holding the middle of the pitch...they are never there.
Johnson - 6.5 - Build up play and movement were better...now someone teach this kid how to cross and finish in front of goal and we are off an running.
Maddison - 4 - Rest him please! Dude looks knackered
Werner - 7.5 - Excellent all game! Sent great cross after great cross in and should have had an easy assist if BJ would have tapped it in. Our best striker by a mile.
Son - 4 - Played ok for 1-2 minutes...kind of his standard. Our fearless leader showed no emotion while we looked like ass for the entire first half. Yep but hey he is a good ambassador and half the stadium seem to be from his home country, so I guess we can give him a pass. Sure sure....
Bentancur - 7 - Another solid showing, start him please...he is ready.
Hojbjerg - 7 - Everyone knows I love PEH....LOL...seriously credit where credit is due! After he came on our midfield actually stabilized. Great work and damn near scored! Solid PEH solid!
Kulusevski - 4 - Honestly I didn't know he was out there....oh wait I did...he lost the ball continuously and instead of passing to 2-3 open players on a few counters.
Lo Celso - 5 - Good energy, but had little impact.
Scarlett - 5 - I would like to see more of him, but we won't

Ange - 6.5 - Two sides of a coin. We still can't play a whole quality match...but he did make some good early subs.
The team - 6.5 - If we could play more than 45 minutes at a time....
