I used some Mosquito spray on holiday years back and it worked a bit still got me, that bottle trick wouldn't they just fly out the bottle nozzle?

Anything that will help I will use. I am allergic too garden beasties and mossi's. I haven't collapsed and stopped breathing yet so they wont give me an epi pen (charming uh)

When I get bitten I have to go through a process fast of using a sting remover syringe type thingy/ice pack on/mark the size/get on the phone to the Dr and get an emergency appointment, to get anti-b's and treated.

Away as we are now, I come with pre-empt anti-biotics so if I get nibbled (guaranteed) when I am away I don't have to mess around with Dr's and hospitals.

Last year I was bitten so badly at home they were threatening to hospitalize me if it didn't start going down within 24 hours as it was heading for the vein. I gt the longest scarf I could find and tied it in an arm wrap and had my arm over my head the whole night tied to the bed stead. I was determined I wasn't going in hospital on a saline drip.

This started in 2005 and every year its the same

Clive if I get stung on the knob will you do the honourable thing and suck out the poison? :3:

Should be getting stung next Tuesday and Friday if you are available :4:

Mosquitos are a daily thing here in Indonesia. They appear usually between 7-8.30am then again between 5-6.30pm generally, but depending where you are it can be anytime. Here they tend to hang around moisture so any plants that have been watered etc etc. I do my best not to get bit, but average about one a week as I am very careful.

As mentioned some can carry and spread virus. When I was in Indonesia the last time, a friend of mine got bit and finished up in hospital for 3-4 days. The bite swelled up and he became drowsy. It turned out it was the bite from the mossy.

We have a lotion we can put on here which I use if I'm going to places where the possibility of mosquitoes is increased, it's called Soffell. If you ever come across it, I recommend it.
