I have gone for an outfield player. Hugos distribution was again poor, losing possession. He let in 3 goals, the usual parry straight to the opposition, too close to his near post on the cutback goal.

Hugo must feel like the whole world is against him. In all honesty you could be a world beater & still have a torrid time with the likes of Aurier, Doherty, Davinson & Dier in front of you. Oh hang on a minute he is a worldy.

I've never seen a player skinned as often as Aurier & i've never seen a player switch off like Dier. They're both dreadful defenders.
Aurier canters back having been skinned for the umpteenth time like he doesn't give a f***. If he cared his positional sense would be a lot better or he'd track his runner. He's incapable of doing either so he's practically useless to us in a defensive scenario.
Dier has become the focal point of everything wrong with our defending. Today he headed the ball back into danger when it was easier to head it into touch. His ball watching skills have also become the stuff of legend. He can watch the ball like no other for club & country... but he doesn't have the common sense or awareness to track his runner for toffee. Why is he even in our first team when there are much better defenders in our squad? As a matter of fact he isn't even a defender, so what in the name of glory is Ryan, Jose et al thinking?
I haven’t seen the game , or heard it on the radio , it seems weird not to know anything about it , but with the support for Hugo as MoM , it paints a very poor picture .

Am with the majority....Hugo, says a lot about the rest doesn't it, very poor.
Been saying it for a while...Hugo is the LEAST of our issues out there. I would keep him for a bit longer...one less damn thing we need to find!!
