Mickel Miller won't be making his Nothampton Town debut today - game at Sixfields has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch

Proctor not in Newport County squad. He may have returned to RUFC , as his current loan ends tomorrow, according to BBC Football website. (Newport drew 0-0)
Only one"Loan Squadder" left in action - Vassell makes his debut in the Fleetwood Town starting eleven.

VASSELL (Fleetwood T., L1) played whole game, not booked, didn't score , L0-1

Possibly, although we already had Hirst and Ladapo as subs. Proctor may already be in negotiations for a move elsewhere. Warney told him that he was "fifth choice" at the start of the season, and Vassell has now gone, so he might have moved up one place, but I think that Warney's message really meant "not in future plans". Proctor's Millers contract runs out this summer.

Some posters on Vital Wigan website now lamenting that Tilt has returned to the Millers, so he must have played ok there.

Then again we had two goalies on the bench at Everton. But I see what you mean.

Looking good for Tilt if the Wigan fans liked him, though, of course, they aren't in the Championship.
 
From the "Goodbye" messages from Jake Cooper to Gateshead FC following the end of his successful loan spells with the "Heed" , it sounds like he is not going back there for the second half of the season . He could be staying at the NYS, but is a loan to a National League or L2 team more likely next? (Haven't heard any rumours)

It could be any of those, Mike. I'd like to think we were keeping him here but if he's not going to be getting games then he might be stepping up to League football.

Some of the "Loan Squad" are scheduled to be in action tonight (Tues).

Not Kayode though - Carlisle's game has been already postponed due to Covid-related problems.
Proctor's loan to Newport has finished now, and he has returned to the NYS - 13 games, 2 goals for Newport. (Source RUFC Official site). He is unlikely to be included in the Millers 25-man squad for the second half of the sesaon, so probably another move for him soon.

Carlisle U. still under Covid restrictions, so Kayode not in action today, but could be playing on Tuesday. Other "Loan Squadders" have scheduled games today.

Vassell, Miller and Jones all start today. Miller is playing for Northampton as a central striker, according to their NTFC Official Twitter. Ex-Millers loan player Sam Hoskins is playing too.

Update 1 - Miller has gone off injured after 35 mins - looked like a hamstring injury

Jones not in Crewe Alex. squad tonight - reason unknown (Alex fans were puzzled by his absence!). There is an interview with him , about his loan move, on Crewe Alex. FC Official Twitter. Crewe lost 1-4.
Mickel Miller is out for Northampton due to his hamstring injury last Saturday.
The Cobblers drew 0-0.

... so just one left, and Vassell is only on the bench for Fleetwood Town tonight.

Interview with Carlisle U. manager Chris Beech yesterday on You Tube - Joshua Kayode has turned down a possible L1 loan to stay with Carlisle until the end of the season.
Kayode has a sore knee at the moment, but from the interview, it didn't sound like anything serious.

Northampton Town FC Official Website - Mickel Miller has a Grade 1 hamstring tear. Likely to be out for 10 days to three weeks.

No news about Billy Jones from Crewe Alex. (Could be "isolating"?)

Surprised at that with Kayode unless he thinks he's a chance of getting into our first team?

Not as bad as I thought for Mickel Miller which is good.

Perhaps they don't think Jones is fit enough (this is said tongue in cheek!)

Paul Davis (Advertiser) Twitter - several clubs interested in signing Proctor on loan.

Crewe Alex. FC Official Website - Billy Jones was rested in midweek, is now back in training, and should be available for selection again. (Looks like you were correct, Caz!)
