I think I've read somewhere (where I do not know) that Matlock have too many players in their squad - could be a reason Hull isn't playing I suppose.

Hull unused sub. Strange cup tie with Matlock getting three players sent off - two from the field and one from the bench! It wasn't really even a dirty game. Matlock hit the bar twice and played quite well, even when down to nine men, but they go out of the FA Cup tonight.

Jake Cooper will not be playing for at least another week - remainder of Gateshead's October NLN fixtures have been postponed due to coronavrus regulations. Some of the other Millers loaned-out players are likely to be playing in mid-week though.

Similar bad news on Matlock Town FC Official site, unfortunately ...
Following some (un-named) MTFC players and other staff being diagnosed with Covid-19, the club will not be playing again until 3rd November at the earliest, and they have had to forfeit their place in the FA Trophy, which means that Jake Hull will be spending some more time on the sidelines. Think his loan finishes around 15th November, but it could be extended.

Thing is a lot of these non-league team players have other jobs where they are bound to be mixing with people. I can see this sort of thing happening for months.
