Would have settled for 1-1 when I saw the starting line-ups. We have done well in some aspects of the game tonight , but disappointing to concede a late goal for the zillionth time - we seem unable to stop doing that, and unfortunately that is likely to continue into our L1 campaign, unless significant changes are made. More worried though about what has happened to the "missing" players.
Unconfirmed rumour on other Millers fans websites that "Trialist" was 20-years-old Matt Daly from Huddersfield Town (attacking midfielder)

Quite a few Newcastle fans phoning TalkSport Radio this afternoon about last night's friendly game (No Millers fans ringing in though!). Although all were agreed that it was a terrible Magpies performance, some were blaming Steve Bruce, and more were blaming Mike Ashley.
One caller said that Smith had given their defence the run-around all game, and that they wouldn't have equalised if he hadn't been substituted.
