I’d say it’s more about how he sees control, for him it’s not possession that controls the game but the ability to win the ball back. More Klopp than Pep.that's not the Sheehan way, he doesn't seem bothered about control like his predecessors were.
It feels more solid defence based and counter attack yet we have very little to counter attack with. Ronald can't beat a man.
I expected Sheehan to demand pace out wide in the Summer window and yet we're piling up with midfielders
I know some prefer possession but I’ve lowered my standards to just not being bored over the last few years and the way we play under Sheehan will do for me at the moment.
