Well, i was in a bar in El Presidente, Estepona, and there were a group of half a dozen Mexican women. Fairly random! No Germans and, as you can imagine, all the Brits were supporting Mexico

What a fantastic game of football that was. Apart from the goals, it was up there with Spain v Portugal imo.
So happy for the Mexicans who did a proper job on the Germans. Great to see a team coming up against one of the big boys without fear, and show the world that it doesn't matter how big the opposition is, they can fall just as hard. Mexico's manager got his tactics spot on, man marking Kroos and keeping 3 up to hit them on the break. If only they had taken 1 or 2 of their other decent chances, they would have been out of sight before Germany's 2nd half siege. I know the Germans missed a few guilt edge chances, and should have got at least a draw in the end, but it just shows what's achievable if you play without fear, stick to your game plan for 90 mins, and never stop running.
Fingers crossed GS's young team will do similar for us. If they show anywhere near the desire/commitment/tactical awareness of the Mexicans, we could well go far. We can only hope!
