MESSI 21 month Jail Sentence!

Just read this and I'm shocked to be honest.
I've always LOVED Messi as a player from the first time I saw him play. If the sentence is made to stand and not a suspended sentence, that would be the end of a fantastic career, to me the best in football.

I have always thought Messi to be a beacon in the football game, of decent play and gentlemanly conduct whilst attempting always to play the most high quality football ever.

OK they COULD give him probation for these tax avoidance charges but it just spoils a fantastic career. His father also shares the charges. PITY!

too effin right a jail sentence is deserved for this tax-dodging scumbag and his greedy parent.

hopefully, make some others think twice about hiding their money-for-jam wealth from the noble taxman in the future.
 
Now if we could only jail a few thousand bankers and politicians and city spivs we'd have a game on.
 
Well I guess this means Barca won't be doing any preseason tours in places like the US now..
 
Chill pill folks - all sentences in Spain (the non violent ones I think) is suspended so he carries on playing.... Think his dad was the major culprit - usually the richer one is the greedier they become - you've heard of tax exiles and Cayman Islands, swiss account etc
