BirminghamLive understands that new owners Naseef Sawiris and Wes Edens have enlisted the help of super-agent Jorge Mendes to assist in transfer dealings this season.
 
I love it when they say they “understand” he has been enlisted. It’s a great journo way of saying “this is probably utter tripe and we have zero concrete knowledge or quotes to back this up but it’s good click bait and if it’s proved to be true we can gloat about how we broke the news...”

Don't understand the thing about Mendes. Agents in football are a fact of life. Some do a good and useful job, others are sheer poison. As far as I can make out about Mendes there's nothing wrong with him, apart from upsetting other agents. Don't think Wolves suffered in any way.

So when does Ronaldo arrive?

Not sure Mc but I read somewhere that the goalkeeper Wolves signed for £15 mill his cut was £6 mill wish I still had the link.
 
If this was true it would be known within football and not come from HITC. The club would be banging the drum given Wolves' success.

It's come from our interest in Moreira the goalkeeper who happens to be on his books only in my humble.

It could be possible - our new owners seem to be doing their homework but would they go for an advisor who is already conflicted given he's working with Forest, let alone Wolves?

There's more than one agent with a shiny client list.

what does that matter if he got 6 million if the player costs 15 million does it really matter how the money is split dont matter if the selling club gets 9 or 15 if the price is 15 mil thats what the buying club has to pay mendes isnt doing it for nothing and he works for some of the best players in europe
 
if he can find us a neves who cares how much he gets from the deal
its not bothered wolves with him making money because they are thinking big . we need to aim higher .im sure the wolves manager moaned too much when he was being given quality player
 
Patricio moved for ZERO. He rescinded his contract so no payment to Sporting.

Whatever his personal deal is remains a different kettle of fish.

Wolves bid, met the asking price, owner or somebody apparently then raised price - team were attacked at training ground because their president was batshit and stirred up the violent bunch in their fanbase, so Patricio (and others) walked away from their contract.
